At Quoddy, cutting-edge scientific research meets elegant dining in our signature product, the green sea urchin.

We produce world-class, sashimi grade uni in our land-based aquaculture facility in New Brunswick, Canada. We farm raise both wild harvested green sea urchins and full life cycle urchins from carefully selected broodstock caught in the Bay of Fundy.

All our seafood products from scallops to lobster are proudly harvested by the local fishermen on Canada’s east coast. Our main aquaculture facility is located in beautiful Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada, where a pristine, wooded coastline meets the Bay of Fundy, home to the world’s highest tides and best seafood.

Quoddy’s main facility is located on 34 coastal acres in Pennfield, New Brunswick, Canada. Our site overlooks the famous Bay of Fundy known for the world’s highest tides and its delicious seafood.

We operate a year-round, land-based, saltwater recirculating holding tank system (RAS) where we raise green sea urchins and hold live American lobsters. Our 10 tank RAS system is capable of holding 100,000 kilos of sea urchins and/or 175,000 kilos of lobsters. We have the capacity for two million juvenile sea urchins on site at any given time.
